# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 bag frozen tater tots

→ Gravy

02 - 450 grams ground breakfast sausage
03 - 30 grams all-purpose flour
04 - 480 millilitres whole milk
05 - Salt, to taste
06 - Black pepper, to taste

→ Optional garnishes

07 - Shredded cheese
08 - Chopped green onions

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven as indicated on tater tot packaging and bake until golden and crisp.
02 - In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground breakfast sausage until well browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
03 - Sprinkle flour evenly over browned sausage and stir for two to three minutes until fully incorporated.
04 - Gradually pour in the milk, whisking continuously to combine, then simmer until the gravy thickens, approximately five to seven minutes.
05 - Add salt and black pepper to taste, stirring to ensure even seasoning.
06 - Arrange crispy tater tots in serving bowls, ladle hot sausage gravy over, and finish with optional shredded cheese and chopped green onions. Serve immediately.
