# Ingredients:

→ Crust

01 - 4 cups hash browns, thawed
02 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

→ Filling

03 - 8 large eggs
04 - 1 cup heavy cream
05 - 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or a blend)
06 - 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon or sausage (optional)
07 - 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
08 - Salt and pepper to taste

→ Garnish

09 - Fresh herbs (such as chives or parsley)

# Instructions:

01 - Start by preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C).
02 - In a large bowl, mix the thawed hash browns and melted butter together. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a greased 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
03 - In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper until smooth.
04 - Once the crust is ready and slightly cooled, sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over it. Add bacon or sausage, if using. Pour the egg mixture over the cheese and meat. Top with chopped green onions.
05 - Return the quiche to the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the egg is set and the top is lightly golden.
06 - Let the quiche cool for a few minutes before removing the sides of the springform pan. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving warm.

# Notes:

01 - Use a springform pan for easy removal and clean presentation.
