Balsamic Strawberry Caprese Salad (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Salad Components

01 - 500 g fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
02 - 225 g fresh mozzarella, sliced
03 - 30 g fresh basil leaves

→ Dressing and Seasoning

04 - 60 ml balsamic glaze
05 - Salt, to taste
06 - Black pepper, to taste

# Instructions:

01 - In a large mixing bowl, gently combine the sliced strawberries and fresh mozzarella.
02 - Scatter the fresh basil leaves over the mixture.
03 - Drizzle the balsamic glaze evenly over the salad and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
04 - Toss gently to incorporate all ingredients, taking care not to bruise the strawberries or basil. Serve immediately, or refrigerate for up to 30 minutes before serving.

# Notes:

01 - For enhanced sweetness, select fully ripe strawberries.
02 - A light drizzle of extra-virgin olive oil can be added for additional richness.
03 - This salad is best enjoyed fresh, but may be refrigerated for up to 2 hours before serving.
