Avocado Strawberry Mango Salsa (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Salsa

01 - 1 cup diced strawberries (a little more than a half pound of strawberries)
02 - 1 cup diced ripe mango (from 2 large mangoes)
03 - 1 avocado, diced
04 - 1 jalapeno, seeded and diced
05 - 2 tablespoons finely diced red onion
06 - 2-3 tablespoons diced cilantro
07 - 1 small lime, juiced
08 - ¼ teaspoon salt, plus more to taste

→ For Serving

09 - Multigrain pita chips, for serving/dipping

# Instructions:

01 - Place all ingredients in a medium bowl and mix to combine.
02 - Garnish with extra cilantro. Serve with pita chips for dipping. Also great served on salmon, fish tacos or shrimp. Serves 4-6. Double the recipe to serve 10-12.

# Notes:

01 - This salsa is best served the day of making it, but if you have some left over, feel free to keep it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
02 - For best results, use ripe but firm fruit to prevent the salsa from becoming too watery.
03 - The lime juice helps prevent the avocado from browning too quickly.
04 - Adjust the heat level by adding more or less jalapeño, or by including some of the seeds for extra spice.
