Avocado Mousse with Christmas Smoked Salmon Recipe (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 ripe avocados.
02 - 1 lime, juiced.
03 - 1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt.
04 - 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped.
05 - 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped.
06 - Salt and pepper to taste.
07 - 4 ounces smoked salmon, thinly sliced.
08 - 1 tablespoon capers, drained.
09 - Fresh dill sprigs for garnish.
10 - Lemon wedges for serving.

# Instructions:

01 - Scoop avocado flesh into food processor. Add lime juice, sour cream, dill, chives, salt and pepper.
02 - Process until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning.
03 - Spoon mousse into serving glasses. Top with smoked salmon slices.
04 - Add capers, fresh dill sprigs, and serve with lemon wedges.

01 - Can be made up to 4 hours ahead.
02 - Serve chilled for best results.
03 - Can be served on toast points or crackers.
