Preheat oven to 400°F and adjust oven rack to middle position.

Add 1 cup whole cherry tomatoes to 2 quart baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil, add pesto, garlic, and seasonings. Toss to coat. Bake 15 minutes.

Combine sour cream, basil, fresh mozzarella, provolone, and parmesan in a bowl.

Add cheese mixture to roasted tomatoes and toss. Halve remaining tomatoes and arrange on top.

Bake 20 minutes until cheese is melted, top is golden, and edges bubble. Add fresh basil before serving.
