Strawberry Cream Sandwiches (Print Version)

01 - 12 strawberries
02 - 1 pint heavy whipping cream
03 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened
04 - 1/4 cup powdered sugar
05 - 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
06 - 1 tablespoon lemon zest
07 - 8-10 slices white bread

# Instructions:

01 - Wash, hull, and thoroughly dry strawberries.
02 - Whip cream cheese until fluffy. Add cream, vanilla, and sugar, whip until stiff. Stir in lemon zest.
03 - Spread cream on bread slices. Arrange strawberries on half the slices, top with more cream and bread.
04 - Score diagonal cutting line. Wrap in plastic, compress gently, and refrigerate 2 hours.
05 - Remove crusts with serrated knife, then cut diagonally. Clean knife between cuts.
