Protein Brownie Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 3 very ripe bananas
02 - ½ cup smooth peanut butter or almond butter
03 - 1/2 cup vanilla or chocolate protein powder (about 2 scoops)
04 - 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

→ For Topping

05 - Sprinkle of chocolate chips (mini preferred) - optional

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
02 - In a medium sized bowl, mash the bananas until smooth (it's okay if there are still some lumps of banana). Mix the almond butter into the mashed bananas.
03 - Next, mix in the protein powder and cocoa powder until all ingredients are well combined.
04 - Arrange 8 silicone baking cups in a muffin tin. Using a spoon and spatula, divide mixture evenly between baking cups. Sprinkle the top of each one with a few chocolate chips.
05 - Bake the brownie cups for about 20 minutes or until cooked through. They will seem soft when they first come out of the oven but will firm up once fully cooled. Serve them at room temperature, cold or slightly warm.

# Notes:

01 - Use overripe bananas for best sweetness
02 - Silicone baking cups help prevent sticking
03 - Can blend ingredients in food processor for smoother texture
04 - Will firm up as they cool
