Old Fashioned Peach Cobbler (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Fruit Layer

01 - 5 peaches, peeled, cored and sliced (about 4 cups)
02 - 3/4 cup granulated sugar
03 - 1/4 teaspoon salt

→ Batter

04 - 6 tablespoons butter
05 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
06 - 1 cup granulated sugar
07 - 2 teaspoons baking powder
08 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
09 - 3/4 cup milk
10 - Ground cinnamon for topping

# Instructions:

01 - Mix peaches, sugar, and salt in saucepan. Cook until sugar dissolves and juices release.
02 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Melt butter in 9x13 baking dish in preheating oven.
03 - Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk until just combined.
04 - Pour batter over melted butter. Top with peach mixture and sprinkle with cinnamon.
05 - Bake 38-40 minutes until done. Serve warm, optionally with ice cream.

01 - Can use canned peaches (1 quart jar)
02 - Can make gluten-free with GF flour blend
03 - Best served warm
