Mascarpone Stuffed Dates Maple (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/4 cup finely chopped pecans
02 - 24 Medjool dates, pitted
03 - 6 oz mascarpone cheese
04 - 2 tbsp Grade A Dark Amber maple syrup

# Instructions:

01 - Turn on the oven broiler and move the oven rack to the top position.
02 - Slice dates lengthwise to remove the pit and create an opening for the filling. Stuff the dates with mascarpone cheese and sprinkle with finely chopped pecan crumbs.
03 - Place the stuffed dates on a lined baking sheet and drizzle with maple syrup.
04 - Broil for 3 minutes or until lightly golden. Watch carefully to avoid burning.
05 - Allow the dates to cool slightly and enjoy warm or at room temperature.
06 - Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
