Crispy Hot Honey Feta Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the chicken

01 - 4 boneless chicken breasts
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
04 - 1 teaspoon paprika
05 - ½ teaspoon salt
06 - ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

→ For the topping

07 - ½ cup crumbled feta cheese
08 - 3 tablespoons hot honey (store-bought or homemade)
09 - Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make cleanup easier.
02 - In a large bowl, drizzle the chicken breasts with olive oil. Sprinkle with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Make sure to coat both sides evenly - don't be shy with those seasonings!
03 - Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned chicken breasts and sear for 3-4 minutes per side until you get a beautiful golden-brown crust. This step is key for that crispy exterior!
04 - Transfer the seared chicken to your prepared baking sheet. Slide it into the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through. For perfect doneness, use a meat thermometer - you're looking for an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
05 - Take the chicken out of the oven, but keep it on the baking sheet. Drizzle each piece generously with hot honey, then sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese over the top.
06 - Return the chicken to the oven for about 5 minutes, just until the feta starts to soften and the honey gets all bubbly and caramelized around the edges.
07 - Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a couple of minutes. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley for a pop of color and fresh flavor. Serve while still hot and enjoy!

# Notes:

01 - You can make your own hot honey by warming ½ cup of honey with 1-2 teaspoons of red pepper flakes.
02 - For extra tender chicken, you can pound the breasts to an even thickness before cooking.
03 - This dish pairs beautifully with a simple green salad or roasted vegetables.
