Hong Kong Style French Toast (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 6 pieces milk bread or white bread
02 - 4 tablespoons smooth peanut butter
03 - 2 large eggs, beaten
04 - 1 cup vegetable oil

→ Toppings

05 - 2 tablespoons butter
06 - Sweetened condensed milk

# Instructions:

01 - Spread peanut butter on two slices of bread, stack with plain slice on top. Make two sandwiches total.
02 - Cut off crusts to make square sandwiches.
03 - Lightly dip sandwiches in beaten egg. Stand vertically while oil heats.
04 - Heat oil to 300°F. Fry sandwiches on all sides until golden (30 seconds sides, 1-2 minutes flat sides).
05 - Top hot sandwiches with butter and condensed milk.

# Notes:

01 - Can substitute peanut butter with Nutella or other spreads
02 - Can use honey or maple syrup instead of condensed milk
03 - Best served hot
