Honey Vanilla Banana Bread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Wet Ingredients

01 - 3 medium or 2 large bananas, mashed (about 1 1/2 cups)
02 - 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
03 - 1/2 cup honey
04 - 2 eggs
05 - 1/4 cup milk
06 - 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract or paste

→ Dry Ingredients

07 - 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
08 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
09 - 1/2 teaspoon salt

→ Optional Toppings

10 - Crushed nuts
11 - Chocolate chips
12 - Peanut butter glaze or frosting

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 325°F and grease an 8½ x 4½-inch loaf pan.
02 - In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and honey. Then whisk in the eggs, mashed banana, milk, and vanilla until well combined.
03 - In a separate bowl, mix together all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
04 - Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
05 - Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Add any desired toppings. If using sliced banana as a topping, slice it lengthwise and place it on top of the batter, cut-side up.
06 - Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
07 - Let the banana bread cool in the loaf pan for 15 minutes. Then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
