Honey Garlic Roasted Mushrooms (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound cremini or button mushrooms, cleaned and trimmed
02 - 2 tablespoons honey
03 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
05 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
06 - 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
07 - Salt and black pepper, to taste
08 - Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Clean the mushrooms thoroughly by wiping them with a damp paper towel. Trim the stems slightly, leaving them intact.
02 - In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
03 - Place the cleaned mushrooms in a large mixing bowl. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the mushrooms, tossing gently until evenly coated.
04 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil. Spread the mushrooms in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded to allow proper roasting.
05 - Place the baking sheet in the oven and roast for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through for even caramelization. The sauce will thicken to form a sticky glaze.
06 - Remove the mushrooms from the oven once golden brown and tender. Place on a serving dish, drizzle with any remaining sauce, and garnish with fresh parsley.

# Notes:

01 - Avoid rinsing mushrooms under water to prevent excess moisture impacting the roast texture.
