Heavenly Red Velvet Cinnamon Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 3½ cups all-purpose flour
02 - ¼ cup granulated sugar
03 - 1 packet (2¼ tsp) active dry yeast
04 - 1 tsp baking powder
05 - ½ tsp salt
06 - 1 cup whole milk, warmed
07 - ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
08 - 1 large egg
09 - 2 tbsp red food coloring
10 - 1 tsp vanilla extract

→ Filling

11 - ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
12 - ¾ cup brown sugar, packed
13 - 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
14 - ½ cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

→ Cream Cheese Frosting

15 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened
16 - ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
17 - 4 cups powdered sugar
18 - 2 tsp vanilla extract
19 - 2-4 tbsp milk

# Instructions:

01 - Whisk together 2 cups flour, sugar, yeast, baking powder, and salt.
02 - Combine warm milk, melted butter, egg, food coloring, and vanilla. Add to dry ingredients with remaining flour.
03 - Knead dough 5-7 minutes until smooth. Let rise in oiled bowl for 1 hour until doubled.
04 - Mix softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Roll dough into 12x18-inch rectangle and spread with filling.
05 - Roll dough into log, slice into 12 pieces. Place in greased pan and let rise 30 minutes.
06 - Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes until golden.
07 - Beat cream cheese and butter, gradually add powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until smooth.
08 - Spread frosting over slightly cooled rolls and serve.
