Healthy No-Bake Caramel Brownies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Brownie Layer

01 - 1½ cups pitted medjool dates
02 - 1 cup walnuts
03 - ½ cup hazelnuts
04 - ¼ cup cacao powder

→ Caramel Layer

05 - ½ cup pecan butter (or substitute almond butter)
06 - ¼ cup maple syrup
07 - 1 tablespoon almond milk
08 - 1 tablespoon coconut oil

→ Topping

09 - ½ cup chopped pecans
10 - Sea salt (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Combine all brownie ingredients (dates, walnuts, hazelnuts, and cacao powder) in a food processor until a brownie-like consistency is achieved. Press the mixture into your prepared pan in an even layer.
02 - Stir together all caramel ingredients (pecan butter, maple syrup, almond milk, and coconut oil) until smooth, then pour over the brownie layer.
03 - Scatter chopped pecans on top of the caramel layer.
04 - Place the brownie tray in the freezer to firm up. Once set, sprinkle sea salt on top of the brownies. Slice into squares and enjoy!

# Notes:

01 - Store in the freezer and thaw for 10 minutes before serving.
02 - Make sure to use a lined pan for easy removal.
03 - If pecan butter is not available, almond butter makes a great substitute.
