In a large bowl, mix the thawed shredded hash browns, grated cheese, and seasoned salt thoroughly to evenly distribute the cheese and seasoning.

Spray or brush the waffle iron with pan release to prevent sticking.

Place about 1 cup of the hash brown mixture onto the waffle iron. Close the waffle iron completely and cook until browned and crisp. Steam generation is normal during cooking.
