01 - Combine butter, parsley, basil, thyme, and black pepper to make herb butter. Yields approximately 3/4 cup.
02 - Season the striped bass fillet with salt and pepper to taste. Place on a well-greased grill heated to medium. Cover with herb butter mixture and cook under a closed grill lid or an aluminum foil tent, basting frequently with the remaining herb butter. Grill for 10-15 minutes per inch of fish thickness, or until the fish is flaky and cooked through. Serve with the remaining herb butter sauce.
