Garlic Parmesan Mushrooms Creamy (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
04 - 415 millilitres whole white mushrooms, washed and dried
05 - 60 grams cream cheese, cut into small cubes
06 - 50 grams Parmesan cheese, finely grated
07 - 120 millilitres heavy cream
08 - 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
09 - 0.5 teaspoon ground oregano
10 - 0.5 teaspoon salt
11 - 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
12 - 0.5 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

# Instructions:

01 - Heat a large 30-centimetre frying pan over medium-high. Melt butter with olive oil, then add minced garlic and whole mushrooms. Cook, stirring occasionally, until mushrooms are tender, approximately 5 minutes.
02 - Reduce heat to medium. Add cubes of cream cheese to the pan and cook, stirring, until fully melted and well incorporated.
03 - Lower heat to medium-low. Stir in Parmesan cheese, heavy cream, Italian seasoning, ground oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until evenly combined.
04 - Simmer mixture for 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens and coats the mushrooms. Remove from heat and garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

# Notes:

01 - For optimal results, ensure mushrooms are thoroughly dried to prevent excess moisture from thinning the sauce.
