Funnel Cake Recipe (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups flour (250g).
02 - 2 tbsp sugar.
03 - 1 tsp baking powder.
04 - 1/2 tsp salt.
05 - 1 cup whole milk (236ml).
06 - 2 large eggs.
07 - 1/2 tsp vanilla (optional).
08 - Vegetable oil for frying.
09 - Powdered sugar for topping.

# Instructions:

01 - Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
02 - Combine milk, eggs, and vanilla. Gradually add to dry ingredients until smooth.
03 - Heat 2-3 inches oil to 370-375°F in medium saucepan.
04 - Pour 1/3-1/2 cup batter in thin stream into oil. Cook 90 seconds per side until golden.
05 - Remove to paper towels, dust with powdered sugar. Serve warm.

# Notes:

01 - No funnel needed.
02 - Add milk if batter too thick.
03 - Let oil reheat between batches.
