Easy Sugar Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup salted butter (2 sticks).
02 - 1 cup sugar.
03 - 1 egg.
04 - 3 tbsp milk.
05 - 1 tsp vanilla extract.
06 - 3 cups all-purpose flour.
07 - 1 1/2 tsp baking powder.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 400°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
02 - Cream butter and sugar. Add egg, milk, vanilla. Mix in flour and baking powder until dough forms.
03 - On floured surface, roll dough 1/4-1/6 inch thick. Cut shapes and transfer to baking sheets.
04 - Bake 5-8 minutes until edges brown. Cool on sheet 3-4 minutes before moving to rack.
05 - Gather scraps, re-roll and cut more shapes. Don't waste dough.

02 - Use flour when rolling.
