Easy Pan Fried Tilapia (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Fish

01 - 4 tilapia fillets (6 oz each, 1.5 lb total)

→ Seasonings

02 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder
03 - 1 tsp sea salt
04 - 1/4 tsp black pepper
05 - 2 tbsp olive oil

→ Lemon Butter Sauce

06 - 1/2 cup salted butter
07 - 2 tbsp lemon juice (from 1 lemon)
08 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder

# Instructions:

01 - Pat tilapia fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with garlic powder, sea salt, and black pepper.
02 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 2 minutes, until hot but not smoking.
03 - Cook fillets 3-4 minutes until edges are opaque and golden brown. Flip and cook 2-4 minutes more until flaky. Transfer to plate and cover.
04 - Reduce heat to medium-low. Melt butter, add lemon juice and garlic powder. Cook 1-2 minutes until thickened.
05 - Drizzle plates with sauce, top with fish, and add more sauce. Serve hot.
