Delicious Christmas Yule Log Sheet Cake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chocolate Sheet Cake

01 - 3/4 cup buttermilk, room temperature
02 - 2/3 cup sour cream, room temperature
03 - 3 large eggs, room temperature
04 - 1/3 cup vegetable oil
05 - 1 Tablespoon vanilla
06 - 1 (15.25oz) Chocolate Cake Mix (Duncan Hines Dark Chocolate Fudge)

→ Whipped Cream Filling

07 - 3 cups heavy whipping cream, cold
08 - 1 Tablespoon vanilla
09 - 1 cup powdered sugar

→ Chocolate Ganache Buttercream

10 - 3 cups Ghirardelli chocolate melts
11 - 1 cup heavy cream, plus more if needed
12 - 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, slightly room temperature
13 - 1 Tablespoon vanilla
14 - 1 pinch salt
15 - 5 cups powdered sugar

→ Garnish

16 - 1/2 cup powdered sugar for dusting
17 - Fresh rosemary sprigs
18 - Fresh cranberries

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease 9x13 pan with shortening or baking spray.
02 - Whisk wet ingredients, sift in cake mix. Spread in pan and bake 27-30 minutes. Cool, slice in half horizontally.
03 - Whip cold cream in chilled bowl until stiff peaks. Add vanilla and powdered sugar, whip again. Spread between cake layers.
04 - Melt chocolate with cream, cool. Beat butter, add ganache, vanilla, salt and powdered sugar until fluffy.
05 - Pipe buttercream in swirls to create log texture. Dust with powdered sugar 'snow' and garnish with rosemary and cranberries.
