# Ingredients:

→ Sauce Base

01 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
02 - 1 tablespoon butter
03 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
04 - ¼ cup white wine
05 - ½ cup broth
06 - 1 cup heavy cream
07 - ½ teaspoon salt
08 - ¼ teaspoon black pepper

→ Main Ingredients

09 - 1 pound store-bought gnocchi, uncooked
10 - 1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
11 - 1½ cups fresh baby spinach, packed

→ Optional Garnishes

12 - Salt and pepper, to taste
13 - Fresh parsley

# Instructions:

01 - Place a large deep skillet or sauté pan over low heat, add the olive oil and butter, and cook the minced garlic for a minute.
02 - Pour the white wine into the skillet and bring it to a simmer. Cook for 2 minutes.
03 - Stir in the broth and heavy cream. Bring the sauce back to a gentle boil.
04 - Add the salt, pepper, and gnocchi. Cover the pan and cook over medium-low heat for 4 minutes.
05 - Remove the lid, stir the gnocchi, and add the shrimp. Stir well and cook uncovered on low heat for 3 minutes or until the shrimp are cooked through. Stir the sauce regularly.
06 - Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the baby spinach. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
07 - Serve the dish garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

# Notes:

01 - Any dry white wine will work. Non-alcoholic substitutions include extra broth with a teaspoon of lemon juice.
02 - Use fish, seafood, chicken, or vegetable broth. Shrimp or lobster base, like Better than Bouillon, is an excellent choice.
03 - Heavy cream is recommended to avoid sauce splitting. Alternatives like whipping or double cream are also suitable.
04 - Shelf-stable dried gnocchi works best for this recipe as it stores well and requires no refrigeration.
05 - For shrimp, use thawed 36/40 count for ideal texture and flavor.
