Creamy Garlic Butter Steak Rigatoni (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 12 oz rigatoni pasta
02 - 1 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin), trimmed and bite-sized
03 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
04 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 1 cup heavy cream
06 - 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
07 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
08 - Salt and pepper to taste

09 - Fresh parsley, chopped
10 - Zest of 1 lemon (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Boil rigatoni until al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water before draining.
02 - Season and sear steak pieces in 2 tablespoons butter, 3-4 minutes per side until browned. Set aside.
03 - In same skillet, melt remaining butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
04 - Add cream and Italian seasoning, simmer. Stir in Parmesan until melted. Thin with pasta water if needed.
05 - Add pasta and steak to sauce, toss to coat. Season with salt, pepper, and optional lemon zest.
06 - Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

01 - Reserve pasta water to adjust sauce consistency
02 - Can use ribeye or sirloin steak
03 - Best served immediately
