Creamy Beef and Shells Recipe (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 ounces medium pasta shells.
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil.
03 - 1 pound ground beef.
04 - 1 small sweet onion, diced.
05 - 5 cloves garlic, minced.
06 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning.
07 - 1 teaspoon dried parsley.
08 - 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano.
09 - 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika.
10 - 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour.
11 - 1 cup beef stock.
12 - 1 can (15 ounces) marinara sauce.
13 - 3/4 cup heavy cream.
14 - 1/4 cup sour cream.
15 - 1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese.
16 - Salt and pepper to taste.

# Instructions:

01 - Cook shells in salted water according to package directions. Drain.
02 - Cook beef in oil until browned, 3-5 minutes. Drain fat.
03 - Sauté onion 2 minutes, add garlic and cook 1 minute more.
04 - Add flour, cook 1 minute. Whisk in stock and marinara. Add seasonings and simmer 6-8 minutes.
05 - Add pasta and beef back to pan. Stir in creams and cheese until melted.

01 - Can use different pasta shapes.
02 - Drain beef fat well.
03 - Best served fresh.
