Place medjool dates, almonds, walnuts, shredded coconut, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt in a food processor.

Blend the mixture until it forms a sticky dough that begins to clump together. If the texture remains crumbly, add 15–30 ml maple syrup and blend again until the dough is cohesive.

Transfer the dough to a mixing bowl. Add candy-coated chocolate chips and mix thoroughly to distribute evenly.

With clean hands, portion and roll the dough into 20 equally sized balls.
