Chicken Sausage Broccoli Orzo (Print Version)

01 - Large drizzle of olive oil
02 - 8 ounces Smart Chicken Organic Spinach Asiago Sausage, cut into 1/4 to 1/2 inch slices
03 - 2–3 cups broccoli, roughly chopped
04 - Kosher salt
05 - Ground black pepper
06 - 1 tablespoon minced garlic
07 - 1 cup orzo pasta
08 - 2 cups Smart Chicken Organic Classic Bone Broth
09 - 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese

# Instructions:

01 - In a large skillet over medium-high heat, drizzle a generous amount of olive oil. Once hot, add the sliced chicken sausage. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional minute until both sides are browned.
02 - Add broccoli to the skillet and season with a large pinch of kosher salt and ground black pepper. Cook for 5 minutes until the broccoli becomes bright green and slightly tender.
03 - Add minced garlic and orzo pasta to the pan. Stir everything together and cook for another minute.
04 - Pour in the chicken broth and stir. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover the skillet and simmer for 10-15 minutes until the orzo is soft and the liquid is absorbed.
05 - Stir in the shredded parmesan cheese until well combined. Serve immediately and sprinkle additional parmesan cheese if desired.
