Cherry Earl Grey Milk Tea (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 Earl Grey tea bag (or 1 tsp loose leaf)
02 - 1 cup water
03 - 1/2 cup milk (any type)
04 - 4-5 fresh cherries, pitted and halved
05 - 1-2 teaspoons vanilla syrup

→ Optional

06 - 1 cinnamon stick
07 - Ice for cold version

# Instructions:

01 - Simmer cherries with 2 tablespoons water for 3-5 minutes until soft. Gently mash.
02 - Steep Earl Grey in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Remove tea bag or strain.
03 - Add milk and optional cinnamon stick to cherries, heat gently while stirring.
04 - Add vanilla syrup to milk mixture, adjust to taste.
05 - Pour tea into mug, strain in milk-cherry mixture, pressing cherries to extract juice.
06 - Serve hot or pour over ice for cold version. Optionally garnish with cherry or cinnamon.
