Cherry Cheesecake Danish Recipe (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups cherries (fresh or frozen), pitted.
02 - 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed.
03 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar.
04 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch.
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
06 - 1 egg (for egg wash).

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 375°F. Mix cherries with sugar and cornstarch, let sit 15 minutes.
02 - Roll out puff pastry on floured surface and cut into 4-inch squares.
03 - Place cherry filling in center of each square. Fold corners toward center.
04 - Brush with egg wash. Bake 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
