# Ingredients:

2 cups cherries (fresh or frozen), pitted.

1 sheet puff pastry, thawed.

1/2 cup granulated sugar.

1 tablespoon cornstarch.

1 teaspoon vanilla extract.

1 egg (for egg wash).
# Instructions:

Heat oven to 375°F. Mix cherries with sugar and cornstarch, let sit 15 minutes.

Roll out puff pastry on floured surface and cut into 4-inch squares.

Place cherry filling in center of each square. Fold corners toward center.

Brush with egg wash. Bake 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
