In two separate large zip-top bags, add 0.5 cup vanilla cake mix, 1 cup granola, and 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon to each bag. Set aside.

In separate microwave-safe bowls, melt 1 cup green candy melts with 1 teaspoon shortening in one bowl and 1 cup lime green candy melts with 1 teaspoon shortening in the other until fully smooth.

Pour the melted green candy mixture over one bowl of cereal and the melted lime green mixture over the second bowl. Stir gently to evenly coat.
