Blueberry Tea Lemonade (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 litre water
02 - 2 black or green tea bags, or 1 tablespoon loose leaf tea
03 - 150 grams fresh or frozen blueberries
04 - Juice of 2 lemons
05 - Zest of 1 lemon
06 - 2 to 3 tablespoons honey or sugar, to taste
07 - Ice cubes
08 - Fresh mint leaves, lemon slices, and additional blueberries, for garnish (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Steep tea bags or loose leaf tea in 1 litre of boiled water for 3 to 5 minutes. If using green tea, use water just below boiling. Remove tea bags or strain loose leaves and cool tea to room temperature.
02 - In a small bowl, combine blueberries, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Gently mash berries with a fork or muddler to extract juices.
03 - Stir honey or sugar into the warm tea until fully dissolved. Adjust sweetness to preference.
04 - Add the blueberry-lemon mixture to the cooled tea. Stir thoroughly to combine. Refrigerate until well chilled or proceed to the next step if serving immediately.
05 - Fill glasses with ice. Pour chilled blueberry tea lemonade over the ice. Garnish with mint leaves, lemon slices, and extra blueberries as desired.

# Notes:

01 - For a more intense blueberry flavour, let the berry mixture steep in the tea for extra time before serving.
