Berry Quinoa Citrus Salad (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Citrus Honey Dressing

01 - 1 teaspoon orange zest
02 - 4 tablespoons fresh orange juice
03 - 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
04 - 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
05 - 1 tablespoon honey
06 - 1 teaspoon finely chopped mint
07 - 1 teaspoon finely chopped basil

→ Salad

08 - 2 cups cooked quinoa
09 - 1.5 cups strawberries, halved
10 - 1 cup raspberries
11 - 1 cup blackberries
12 - 1 cup blueberries
13 - 1 cup roughly chopped almonds or candied pecans
14 - 1 tablespoon finely chopped mint
15 - 1 tablespoon finely chopped basil

# Instructions:

01 - In a small bowl or jar, whisk together orange zest, orange juice, lemon juice, lime juice, honey, mint, and basil until well combined. Set aside.
02 - In a large bowl, combine cooled cooked quinoa, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, almonds, mint, and basil. Gently mix to ensure even distribution of ingredients.
03 - Drizzle the citrus honey dressing over the salad. Gently toss until all components are lightly coated. Serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - Allow the cooked quinoa to cool completely before combining with fruit to prevent wilting. The salad is best enjoyed on the day of preparation.
