Baked Ham and Cheese Croissants (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 large croissants, sliced in half
02 - 8 slices of deli ham (about 200g)
03 - 8 slices of Swiss cheese (or Gruyère, about 120g)
04 - 2 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)
05 - 2 tbsp mayonnaise (optional)
06 - 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Spread Dijon mustard and mayonnaise on the inside of each croissant half (if using).
03 - Layer 2 slices of ham and 2 slices of cheese inside each croissant. Close the croissants and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
04 - Brush the tops of the croissants lightly with melted butter.
05 - Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the croissants are golden brown.
06 - Serve warm and enjoy!

# Notes:

01 - Feel free to substitute Swiss cheese with cheddar, provolone, or your favorite cheese.
02 - Add a sprinkle of herbs like thyme or parsley for an extra touch of flavor.
03 - Use a baking rack on the sheet for extra crispiness.
